Round aluminum identification tag, 1 3/8" diameter, hole at bottom edge. Imprinted on front: "Frances C. Ladd. Nurse, A.N.C. Base Hosp No.6 U.S.A." Reverse is blank.
Frances Ladd was a 1911 graduate of the MGH Training School for Nurses, served at Base Hospital No.6 during WWI. This group of nurses was later known as the "Bordeaux Belles." Ladd later became Superintendent of Nurses at the Faulkner Hospital, 1920-1945.
